Pocket Bikes:
It is the responsibility of the buyer to be clear and comply with all relevant local, state and federal laws with regard to the possession and/or exercise of pocket bikes bought from us. The buyer agrees that they are of legal age and that the product will be used only in a legal behaviour. We have no control over the use of any product once in the buyers possession and assume no liability related to their use. Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage or expense of any kind arising from the use, or misuse of these products, for any particular task. Bikes are not a toy, riding a bike could be dangerous and serious injury or death is possible. Wear an approved helmet at all times when riding a bike. Be sure to always wear a chin strap securely buckled. Failure to wear an approved helmet may result in serious injury or death. Wet weather impairs traction, braking and visibility. The risk of accidents are dramatically increased in wet conditions. Riding at dusk, after dark or at times of poor visibility is dangerous and can result in serious injury or death. We are not responsible for any mishaps to the rider/buyer and parents accept all risks. We do not provide any warranty for these bikes. We are not responsible for any damage caused by the customer/rider of this bike.
Pocket bikes must not be ridden on any footpath or road, private property only. No registration or license is needed.
Rules for motorised scooters:
If ridden improperly motorised scooters can cause injury. The following rules and regulations now apply:
- A motorised scooter can only be powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of no more than 200 watts. It must have a manufacturer's plate or engraving that certifies the motor's output.
- It must not be capable of exceeding 10km/h on level ground when propelled by the motor.
- It must be fitted with a bell or horn and riders must wear a helmet.
- The scooter can be used on paths (except on the pedestrian section of a separated footpath), but must keep left and give way to pedestrians.
- They can also be used on local roads during daylight hours where the speed limit is not more than 50 km/h and there is no medium strip, painted island, dividing line or more than one lane. The rider must keep left at all times.
